What are we looking for?
We are seeking an Industrial Designer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will develop products across multiple sectors, including foam fabrication, wood container design, and aerospace components. This position requires a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to create designs that are both aesthetically appealing and highly functional. We need a detail-oriented and innovative Industrial Designer who can conceptualize, develop, and refine product designs while ensuring they meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

What are you expected to do?

Design and develop products for foam, wood, and aerospace applications, ensuring they meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
Create sketches, diagrams, and illustrations to effectively communicate design concepts.
Develop and test prototypes using foam, wood, and aerospace-grade materials.
Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create precise 2D and 3D models.
Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.

You’ll be a great fit if:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
You are proficient in CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
You have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in foam fabrication, wood construction, or aerospace components.
You have excellent sketching and visualization skills.
You understand material properties and their applications in product design.
You have strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
You excel in communication and teamwork.

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

You have experience working directly with clients to develop custom product solutions.
You have prior experience in prototyping and testing to refine designs.
You are familiar with sustainability principles in industrial design.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away
