What are we looking for?
The HR Administrator at ASGI serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR matters, offering process and transactional support for HR systems and processes. This role is integral in managing administrative tasks, talent acquisition, employee onboarding and offboarding, internal communications, and overall employee engagement. The HR Administrator collaborates closely with the outsourced HR management team.

What are you expected to do?

Safety & Compliance:

  • Actively participate in and cooperate with all safety and health programs.
  • Immediately report any hazards, unsafe situations, near misses, or work-related injuries.
  • Avoid any intentional or reckless interference with or misuse of safety and health resources.

Human Resources:

  • Conduct initial phone screens interviews as needed.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including contract generation, payroll paperwork, induction sessions, and seamless integration into the company.
  • Ensure new employees receive timely and accurate instructions regarding employment and benefits.
  • Provide administrative support to the outsourced HR team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic HR files and records.
  • Liaise with payroll to ensure the timely and accurate exchange of information.
  • Support various HR projects and generate required HR reports.
  • Handle sensitive issues with strict confidentiality.
  • Build relationships and maintain open communication channels with employees to foster trust and credibility.
  • Assist with organizing and managing internal office events.

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR/ER, business, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle tasks with confidentiality, reliability, discretion, and flexibility.
  • Solid interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • High degree of confidentiality, reliability, and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to building relationships.

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

  • Experience in fast-paced environments and growth companies.
  • Exposure to HR systems, such as Employment Hero.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Proven knowledge of Australian HR requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills.

    What happens after you submit your application?

    The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

    • There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
    • We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
    • If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
